A second wallet for travelling
Travel secrets from Kiwi wanderers
One of the handiest devices out there is a second (or third) wallet. When travelling from country to country, have a wallet for each currency. That way you don't have to rat through different notes to find the one you want and coins and notes can be kept in the wallet together.
Once settled in a country, always carry two wallets when going out. One has phone cards, loyalty cards and a bit of spending cash in it, the other has credit cards and the bulk of the money. Keep second wallet in front pocket of jeans, or buried in bag, with phone card wallet easier to hand.
If accosted by muggers, or "dipped", the likelihood is that the stray wallet would be the one offered and/or taken.
