Tissues, earplugs, lip balm, and sunglasses.

Having travelled extensively to many places, the three things I would NEVER leave behind are tissues, earplugs, sunglasses and lip balm.

Why, you ask?

Tissues.

Not all toilets are 'toilets'. Need I say more?

Earplugs

Some people snore loud enough to rattle windows, and if you need to catch a few z's on a noisy bus or boat, a good set of plugs are invaluable.

Lip balm

Dry, chapped lips are just horrid and sore. If they become blistered, cracked and weepy, it makes smiling and laughing bloody painful. Balmed lips are moisturised, smooth, kissable and aid smiling and laughing immeasurably.

Sunglasses

Sunglasses come in handy if you plan on opening your eyes in the raw Cambodian sunlight whilst visiting Angkor, or while floating down the Nile, or on whatever other adventure takes your fancy.
