The Light Between Oceans is set in the early 1900s and tells the tale of a lighthouse keeper and his wife who have been unable to have children.

When a boat washes ashore carrying a dead man and a baby they decide to keep it and a great novel unwinds from there. Will they be discovered? What will happen to the child?

This was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I would heartily recommend it to anyone who thinks the premise is interesting. Superb.
