I read the Stuff Nation story about 007, the cat, and our moggy sounds just like him.

But Harley also has another lovely trait.

From the top of our garage he can see down the road. At the end of each day he watches me return from work and, when he spots me, he jumps down, crosses the road and gallops at full speed down the footpath to me.

In the time he is galloping towards me I put down my bags, and then he jumps into my arms.

Who could ask for a better welcome home than that?
