Our dog completely rules the roost. Well with me anyway, not with my fiance.

He is constantly telling me, "you shouldn't let him on the bed", "you shouldn't give him food when you're eating", and so on.

The dog is allowed on the bed when the alarm goes off for work in the morning and he stays with us for a couple of snoozes.

The dog knows how to work us. If he wants play time and tug a war, he goes to the man of the house.

If he is cuddly and needs some love, he comes straight to Mum.

We both adore him, he knows it, he also just knows that Dad is more firm with him.

He calls the shots when I am alone with him, and my fiance tries not to let him, but he does in most cases. Every now and again he will come down hard on him.
