Misty is a dear old girl who gets up to a lot of mischief.

This is a photo is of her enjoying her first Christmas in 1997 by taking on the nativity set and winning. She sat there for about 15 minutes knocking the three wise men and the farm animals around and was most impressed with her efforts.

Misty is still with us, but at the age of 16 doesn't pick fights with the nativity set anymore. She still rules the roost, and no doubt always will.

Her other antics include being first in line when the dog gets fed his dinner. When she's finished, he's allowed to eat.

She's the one remaining pet of the three my brother and I had as kids. She likes to be involved in everything, sitting on your mouse pad or even your shoulders while you use your computer. She likes to think she's the queen of the house and I think our family would have to agree.

I miss her loads since I moved to Wellington (she still lives in Auckland with my family).
