She's Streeps ahead

SANDRA Bullock, who we've always thought was fairly boring by Hollywood standards, has just got about a million times more interesting.
Her stint on The Blind Side has put her in line to win Best Actress at this year's Oscars and she's been talking some serious smack about the other front-runner Meryl Streep.
Check it out: "With Meryl, when this whole thing started, I left her a voicemail going, 'You've got to watch your back. I'm gonna cut you. I'm gonna take you down,' and then she sent me dead orchids and told me to die, so I sent her a case of liquor and told her to toast to white trash." See? We say give the girl an Oscar.
Bullock's also got a stab at a second trophy. She's been nominated for Worst Actress at the Golden Raspberry Awards, for her work on comedy All About Steve. Previous winners of the spoof awards include Paris Hilton and Halle Berry, and Bullock's not shy of making an appearance.
"If I win, I am so showing up. I have to enjoy that as much as getting an Oscar nomination. It is the great balance in our business," Bullock says.
