ADINE Wilson has ruled herself out of international duties for 2009.
"I would never say never but at the moment I don't have that burning ambition to be in the Silver Ferns again," she said last night.
"I loved my time in the team but I don't have that desire to be there now.
"Who is to say in a year I won't want to get back? I don't want to close the door on that option completely but at the moment it's not driving me."
Wilson is contracted to the Steel till the end of the season and after a winter in Invercargill will relocate with her one-year-old son Harper to Auckland where husband and former All Black and Black Cap Jeff Wilson has taken on a coaching role at North Harbour.
However, she says she has given no thought to a shift to the Mystics next year.
She has, however, got them on her mind this weekend.
The Steel, coming off a bye, take on the Auckland-based side tomorrow night.
"We know the Mystics have got game-breakers in their team," she said.
"We lost to them in the pre-season so we've got something to prove and we just can't wait to get back on the court," she said.
