PRIZE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

‘Win a weekend at the NZ PGA in Queenstown’ Terms and Conditions:

Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these terms and conditions of entry.
1.Contest Period: The Entry Period for the ‘Win a weekend at the NZ PGA in Queenstown’ (the Contest) begins on February 12, 2012 and ends on March 9, 2012 (the Entry Period).
2.How to enter: To enter the Contest, entrants must be a subscriber to the Sunday Star-Times. All new and existing subscribers are automatically in the draw to win the prize (clause 9).
3.Eligibility: The Contest is open only to legal residents of New Zealand who are 18 years of age or older and who are able to use the prize as stated in clause 9 (Eligible Entrants). Employees and immediate families of the Promoter and agencies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. 
4.The draw to determine the winner will take place no later than March 14, 2012.
5.WINNER NOTIFICATION: The Winner will be contacted by the contact details provided. The Winner will be notified within seven days following the draw. If after seven days the winner cannot be contacted the prize will be redrawn.
6.Judges’ decisions are final with respect to all matters relating to the Contest. By participating, the Entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
7.The Winner will be contacted via email and/or phone after the judging period.
8.The results of the judging are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Travel Conditions:
Flights available from major city airports only, subject to availability
The Ultimate Hike is subject to weather permitting and minimum booking requirement.
Exclusions:
Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the prize package is excluded. 
Other conditions:
10.Winners must provide a valid email address by which all communications, tickets and vouchers will be delivered although in exceptional circumstances, paper airline tickets may be issued at the discretion of the airline and will be forwarded by courier to the winner.
11.All elements of the prize are subject to availability with no cash alternative and the prize package is non-transferable and non-refundable. Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part). The promoter reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of an equivalent value should the prize(s) become unavailable for any reason.
12.If winner is unable to fulfil prize during time period, winner forfeits the prize package with no compensation or further liability of the promoter.  Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
13.Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, then the Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to postpone, modify, reschedule or cancel the Contest and determine the Finalists from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation, based on the same criteria listed previously.
14.If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
15.The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided with each entry only to notify the Winners and to verify the eligibility and identity of the Winners.  Pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and correct any personal information.
16.The Promoter is the Sunday Star-Times of 2 Hereford Street, Freemans Bay, Auckland (“The Promoter”).
