Fashion designer Alexandra Owen: constructing a profile
Alexandra Owen warned me her place was hard to find. The GPS stopped the cab at a tight bend, on a precipitous Wellington hill, overgrown with wind-whipped foliage. Owen's street sign pointed wonkily down the slope, marking out little more than a steep, zig-zagging footpath. The driver, refusing to let me walk, insisted that there must be a different drivable route somewhere. But after a circuit of the surrounding streets and no road apparent, he relented with a terse pffft! of breath and I trekked the rest of the way on foot.NZ's sexiest people
