The Blues are considering going amber and black for their next Super 15 coach.
The franchise has not revealed its shortlist for the job currently held by Pat Lam, but the New Zealand Herald has reported there are four candidates. And two of them have strong Taranaki connections.
Former Taranaki and current Canada coach Kieran Crowley is being interviewed, according to the Herald, along with former Taranaki man and current Sharks boss John Plumtree. The other shortlisted contenders are Japan coach John Kirwan and incumbent Lam.
Applications for the job closed last month and the interview process has reportedly begun.
