Taranaki Daily News readers are picking the amber and blacks to hold on to the Shield tomorrow.

Close to 400 people responded to a taranakidailynews.co.nz poll that asked if Taranaki could hang on to the Ranfurly Shield in its defence against Canterbury at Yarrow Stadium tomorrow.

Close to 63 per cent picked Taranaki to win by 12 points or under, with just over 18 per cent believing that it would win by 13 points or more.

Slightly more - 18.8 per cent - went for the unthinkable option, a loss and a Shield handover.

And tomorrow, if you can't make it to the ground or a telly screen, you can follow the match with live updates at www.taranakidailynews.co.nz from 2.35pm.
