Police search for Opunake man
Police searching for Raymond Thomas Taylor
Police are searching for an Opunake man in connection with an aggravated burglary at a pub on Thursday night.
A man wearing a bandanna round his face took a significant amount of cash from behind the bar at the Opunake Club Hotel.
Constable Nigel Dey said they are looking for Raymond Thomas Taylor and have so far failed to find him at addresses he is known to frequent.
Police believe he may still be in Opunake but also has connections with Rahotu, Manaia and New Plymouth.
If anyone sees Taylor police ask they don't approach him as his recent behaviour has been unpredictable.
Any information can be passed on by calling 111, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or a local police station.
