Third choice All Blacks first five-eighth Beauden Barrett has been released to play in Taranaki's vital NPC match against Wellington in the capital on Sunday.
Barrett, 21, confirmed after Taranaki training this morning that he had been given the all-clear by the All Blacks to start his first game since September 1.
Taranaki must beat Wellington to have any chance of hosting a semifinal the following week.
