Screamingly good fun at museum party
Vampires, zombies, witches, wizards
Ghoul Luther Donselaar, 6, thought Virginia Winder's Witchypoo costume was the scariest thing at Puke Ariki's "A Museum Most Haunted" Halloween celebration last night.
About 150 young vampires, zombies, witches, wizards, spidermen, devils, dinosaurs, pirates, elves, ghosts and fairies arrived with their parents to get frightened by staff among the exhibits, play games, dance, scream and scare each other.
Puke Ariki event co-ordinator Natalie Waddell, bride of Frankenstein, said they had tried to keep the atmosphere light, but getting a little bit of a fright was a normal part of human experience.
