Two national funding agencies have been asked to investigate allegations made against Taranaki event and production management firm Tihi Ltd.
The allegations, related to finance and staffing issues, are contained in correspondence from a former employee, Helena Bethune, who worked with the business from July to September this year.
Ms Bethune has made the allegations in letters to Creative New Zealand and Te Puni Kokiri.
Yesterday, Tihi Ltd, through lawyer Andrew Laurenson, said the accusations were malicious and the company would be taking legal action against Ms Bethune.
A spokeswoman for Te Puni Kokiri said it had received a letter outlining Ms Bethune's concerns and was "looking into it".
Creative New Zealand also acknowledged receipt of a letter, and stated it would look into the matter and respond to Ms Bethune directly.
