Patea man Colin Leonard Webb will be sentenced next year after pleading guilty to raping and sexually assaulting two young girls 40 years ago.
Webb, 59, admitted the rape and attempted rape of under-12-year-old girls, representative charges of indecently assaulting the same girls and inducing them to perform indecent acts.
The offences date between 1972 and 1978. In the New Plymouth District Court yesterday Judge Allan Roberts remanded Webb on bail for a full pre-sentence report and sentence on February 25.
