LATEST: Flooding has been reported at some Stratford properties after the town's main water line burst this afternoon.

The water pipe was due to undergo urgent maintenance tonight because it was damaged and leaking.

Contractors are working to repair the pipe but it is unknown whether water will be back by 6pm tonight.

"Residents will notice loss of water immediately," a Stratford District Council release said.
