Nobody was injured in a three-car crash in New Plymouth this morning.
A budget rental ute, a silver hatchback and a white stationwagon collided at the intersection of Lemon St and Eliot St shortly before 11:30am.
Constable Wade Callander said it appeared the white stationwagon was travelling towards the mountain on Eliot St when it collided with the ute which was leaving the south end of Lemon St.
He said the impact swung the ute around and it had hit the silver hatchback which was waiting to turn out of the other side of Lemon St.
The stationwagon was badly damaged and unable to be driven.
