Two high-profile fugitives have been found by police today.
Aaron Alexander King, 30, was located at an address in Hawera in the early hours of this morning.
King had a warrant for his arrest on a charge of wounding with intent to injure after a domestic incident on New Year's Day, and after a short police chase on Saturday had also been charged with dangerous driving and failing to stop.
Police also found Matthew Ross Ratu, 34, in the Auckland suburb of Manurewa this morning.
He is facing money laundering and burglary charges and had a warrant out for his arrest.
Ratu was one of the most recent 5 most wanted Taranaki criminals to have appeared in the Taranaki Daily News in December.
The Taranaki Daily News has now published the names, faces and alleged crimes of 10 of Taranaki's most wanted criminals since last year and all have been caught.
Both King and Ratu are due to appear in court today.
