An Eltham mother has admitted benefit fraud totalling more than $22,000.

Aroha Leigh Washer, 25, pleaded guilty in the Hawera District Court yesterday to six charges of dishonestly using a document and two of wilfully omitting to advise.

The offending involved the domestic purposes benefit and accommodation supplement from February 12, 2010.

Judge Max Courtney ordered a full pre-sentence report and she will reappear on April 10 for sentencing.
