The Ministry of Fisheries is investigating Patea man Yosh Makea after he appeared in yesterday's Taranaki Daily News selling paua at PaePae in the Park on Wednesday.
A Fisheries spokesperson said selling paua outside the Quota Management System was a clear breach of the Fisheries Act and further inquiries would be made into Mr Makea's operation.
