The Stratford Art Society is presenting its biannual art exhibition showcasing a range of talent including new members exhibiting for the first time.

This exhibition also offers an opportunity to buy original Christmas gifts.

The society's exhibition is open now and runs until December 14 in the Percy Thomson Gallery.

A range of media will include wood turning, pottery, textile, photography, painting and sculpture and a few surprises.

"There will be a visual variety of members' work including Maree Liddington's stunning tapestry weaving, Nga-Motu," gallery director Sue Morton said.
