Home Brew, Kids of 88, Ruby Frost and Midnight Youth are just some of a diverse mix of acts announced for next year's Homegrown.

Homegrown features a line-up of all New Zealand acts on the Wellington waterfront and has been a sell-out for the past five years.

The 2013 event will feature 45 bands and DJs across six stages.

There will be dub and roots, rock, pop and electronic stages, as well as a free of charge breakdance and DJ stage which will be open to the public.

Dub and reggae acts Kora, Ladi6, Shapeshifter, The Black Seeds, Katchafire, AHoriBuzz and Sunshine Soundsystem will feature alongside rock groups like I Am Giant, Elemeno-P and Midnight Youth.

Hip-hop lovers will appreciate the announcement of Home Brew, David Dallas, P-Money and Savage.

Other acts include Cairo Knife Fight, Clap Clap Riot, The Babysitters Circus, Illegal Sound Clash and DJ Redbird Jnr.

Hip hop/pop heavyweights Savage, P Money and Friends and the always popular Kids of 88 are also joining the party.

If required March 3 will be used as a postponement day.
