Five hours of non-stop live sounds are set to rock Hawera's Community Centre this Saturday night and all proceeds will go to the town's TSB Hub.
Hawera bands Chosen Few and Accumen will play four sets, alternating the first three on two stages.
They rehearsed at least 20 hours for the final, combined set, meaning nine musicians will be harmonising. Expect a huge, full sound, said organiser and Accumen guitarist Ben Thomas.
The play list for the final set will include an acoustic version of Hotel California, featuring Accumen's classically trained bass player Hayden Cook, Ben Harper's Steal My Kisses From You and Dragon's Rain.
Except for a short break to auction off an acoustic Ashton guitar donated by Music Works in New Plymouth, the music will be continuous from 8pm until 1.30am.
The musicians' time and equipment have all been donated.
Hawera singer songwriter Deb Johnson is the opening act.
Doors open at 7pm. Tickets cost $25 and are available from Shannon Cox at the South Taranaki District Council.
