Thieves have been stealing wooden pallets from businesses in New Plymouth and Waitara.

A vehicle was caught on CCTV taking some of the blue coloured CHEP brand wooden pallets.

In the video, it appears a man and a woman used a 4 x 4 vehicle, possibly a Toyota, and were towing a large tandem trailer.

Police are interested in hearing from anyone who may recognise the vehicle or has seen a similar vehicle and trailer carrying blue pallets.

Do you have faith in police solving burglaries?

Yes - there's no faulting their commitment.

Mostly, but they are under-resourced.

Sort of - depends on when and where.

Not really - clearly a low priority for them.

Absolutely not.

Not sure - luckily I've never been burgled.
