Several burglaries were reported in South Taranaki over the weekend.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, a home on Hawera's Cambria St was broken into and a stereo and musical instruments were taken.
Senior Sergeant Mike Hannah, of Hawera Police, said two properties on Wilson Rd in Opunake were also burgled overnight sometime between August 1-2.
While nothing was taken at one of the houses, a number of tools from a shed were stolen from the other address.
Hannah said a report of a burglary, which happened sometime in the last two months, of an unoccupied house on Hawera's Gladstone St is also being investigated.
