Fowler Homes wins region's supreme award
Taranaki's finest properties named
Fowler Homes have taken out top honours at the regional House of the Year awards.
The company won two categories and was named the supreme winner at the Registered Master Builders Awards dinner last night.
Every category winner has a chance at the supreme award and Fowler Homes took out the top spot with a home in Bell Block that also took out the James Hardie $450,000 - $600,000 award.
The judges said the house made the most of the sun, had stunning interior timber work and was a fine example of a comfortable family home.
It was a home the builder "should be proud to put his name to", the judges said.
Fowler Homes also won the Placemakers New Homes $350,000 - $450,000 award and a Craftsmanship Award.
The seven Gold winners from Taranaki will now be assessed alongside winners from across the country to find the National Gold Reserve finalists.
National winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Auckland in November.
