Cash is being offered to Stratford Speedway stockcar drivers for rollovers.
"It's got a bit too tame. Offering cash money may liven things up for the crowd," club president Chris Hill said. "But it has to be a genuine roll, not just hung up on the wall."
The victim and perpetrator (roller and rollee?) will be paid $200 each when a car is deliberately flipped over.
Track officials will judge whether an incident qualifies for payment.
Someone had a go last Saturday, but the car did not flip.
Hill is hoping for better results tomorrow night when three stockcar races are on the programme.
He said driver and crowd safety was not an issue, because the cars and barriers were designed for it and fire, first aid and ambulance services were always on hand.
Saloons will battle out the Korff memorial series, and ex-stockcar driver Jarrod Macbeth will have his new car on the grid.
This is the former David Hinton saloon, with a new body that Macbeth collected from Tauranga last Sunday.
Other featured events are the Mountain Classic for street stocks and the final demolition derby of the season, plus ministocks, midgets and superstocks.
