Curiosity is running rife in Stratford.
The town's New World sold a strike four ticket that won $334,725 on Saturday night but nobody seems to be spilling the beans on who the winner is.
The owner operator of New World Stratford, Jim Lim, said he was thrilled to have sold the winning ticket after a dry spell of five years at the store.
"We were certainly due for one as we haven't had anything since I took over the store five years ago," he said.
"There will be celebrations all round I'm sure but nobody seems to know who has won at this stage."
Mr Lim said the beauty of Stratford was how close-knit the community was and it shouldn't take long for people to find out who was rolling in the money.
Lotto first division was also won on Saturday with two tickets taking a $500,000 share of the prize.
The first division tickets were sold in Franklin and Palmerston North.
Powerball's first division jackpotted and will be worth an estimated $8 million this Saturday.
