A man is recovering in hospital after suffering an accidental stabbing during a home kill in Coastal Taranaki yesterday.
St John Paramedics attended the scene before transporting the man to Taranaki Base Hospital in a serious condition.
"He is now comfortable in a ward," a hospital spokeswoman said.
Sergeant Ross Wright said it was a workplace accident and OSH were investigating.
