Police are on the hunt for an Okato man after a search at his house uncovered a suspected p-lab.

Robert Hills, 44, is wanted in relation to the three charges including possession of precursor substances, materials and equipment for the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Hills has been missing since November 15 when the search warrant was executed and the police are calling for the public's help to track him down.

He is not considered armed or dangerous but he should not be approached, police said.

What do you think of Maori trying to restrict access to the breakwater?

It's a ridiculous move and won't help.

Good on them for standing up for themselves.

It's a non-issue since they can't fully cut off access.

Don't know, don't care
