A South Taranaki drug dealer has admitted a number of drug-related offences.
Luke John Smith, aged in his 20s, and two other men were to go to trial next year but yesterday Smith pleaded guilty to seven offences.
These included possessing cannabis for sale, cultivating cannabis, offering to supply methamphetamine, offering to sell a class B controlled drug and two representative charges involving buying and selling cannabis plants. Smith admitted a lower-tier charge involving possession of methamphetamine.
Judge Roberts convicted Smith, and remanded him in custody till January 10 for sentencing.
