The Central District Stags scored a win over the Auckland Aces at New Plymouth's Pukekura Park on Wednesday but it has been revealed the team may have had a little help from the crowd.
Several early opportunities to catch Stags players out were lost by the Aces as the crowd distracted them by cheering for the home team.
However, another explanation for some of the dropped balls has come to light.
A huge cheer went up from the Mexican end of the park as a keen young woman diverted eyes from the pitch with her bare rear end.
Daily News photographer Andy Jackson caught the revealing moment on camera.
Former All Black Marc Ellis brought nudity to parks all over New Zealand when he famously streaked at a provincial rugby match in Greymouth.
