A water main burst on New Plymouth's Queen's Rd just before lunchtime yesterday.
Nearby residents were without water for about two hours.
New Plymouth District Council contractors responded to the burst main within 30 minutes and turned it off. A short length of pipe was replaced and water was back on by 2pm.
