Taranaki Rescue Helicopter Trust calls in the past week:
Monday, 12.32pm: The rescue helicopter was called to a patient suffering chest pains in Awakino. Patient was flown to Taranaki Base Hospital for treatment.
Tuesday, 2.47pm: Went to Hawera Hospital to fly a patient with a serious cardiac condition to Taranaki Base Hospital for treatment. 4.22pm: Flew to Tarata Rd after a motorcycle crash. The patient, who was in a serious condition, was flown to Taranaki Base Hospital.
Friday, 10am: Aircraft was sent to Kapuni after an industrial accident in which a man had amputated his fingers. Patient was flown to Waikato Hospital.
Saturday, 9.25am: Aircraft flew to Mt Taranaki to winch an injured runner off a track. The patient, suffering from ankle injuries, was flown to Taranaki Base Hospital.
