I just need somebody to love: Eve
You may recognise Eve from earlier this year when she featured in the North Taranaki Midweek.
We didn't for a moment think she would still be with us in March - but she is.
Eve was found in a park with her three wee kittens in December.
She did a wonderful job of raising her kittens and they have all now been adopted but dear Eve is still with us.
She is in an "apartment" AKA the aviary - don't worry, it hasn't been inhabited by birds for many years - we ran out of room for cats so the "aviary" is now a cat apartment.
The problem is it is tucked out of the way so people often don't realise the cats are in there.
Currently Eve, her best friend, Nicci, and their buddy, Zuma, are all there enjoying the peace and quiet but always hopeful that someone special will chose to adopt one of them one day soon.
Meet them all, and lots of other animals looking for homes, at the North Taranaki SPCA, 75 Colson Road, New Plymouth.
Open from 10am - 4pm Monday-Saturday (closed Sundays and Public Holidays).
We desperately need more awesome people to join our crew of animal foster parents, we supply everything you need to provide temporary care for animals in need of some extra special loving, usually because they are young.
We especially need fosterers for birds, puppies and kittens - please let us know if you are interested.
