A Taranaki teen has been taken to hospital with a broken leg this morning after falling off a child-sized quad bike.
Constable Trent Hoeta said the 15-year-old had been riding the Suzuki LT50 on a farm on Mimi Rd near Urenui about 10:15am when he came off.
"It looks like he was doing donuts around the tree."
He said the teen had been far too big for the bike.
