Crash near Inglewood
The crash left one lane blocked for about an hour
A teenager will be charged with careless driving after crashing her car on the outskirts of Inglewood today.
The crash on Lincoln road happened at about midday after the sole occupant, a 17-year-old from Inglewood, lost control of the car she was driving.
"She has lost control on a gentle left hand bend on a damp road and clipped an oncoming vehicle. She then crossed the centre line lost control and hit the bank before doing a full rollover," Inglewood Senior Constable Alistair Balsom said.
Neither of the drivers were seriously injured. "The driver of vehicle that rolled received a minor bump to the head and has had some minor medical treatment to check she's okay."
As a result of the crash Mr Balsom said the teenager would be charged with careless driving and that the matter would be dealt with by the courts.
The crash left one lane blocked for about an hour before a tow truck arrived to clear the scene.
