Three people arrested for drug dealing appeared in the New Plymouth District Court yesterday.

Celeste Mottram, 37, facing charges of supplying class A and B drugs, was remanded on bail until January 8.

Reece William Maxwell, 28,  and a woman in her 20s who was given interim name suppression are jointly charged with possessing methamphetamine and cannabis for supply after their arrest on Tuesday.

Judge Allan Roberts remanded Maxwell in custody by consent until December 19, while the woman was remanded on strict bail conditions including not associating with Maxwell, not to take any non-prescription drugs and to allow police to search her house at any time.

She is to reappear in court on January 18 when the interim order for suppression will lapse.

What do you think of Maori trying to restrict access to the breakwater?

It's a ridiculous move and won't help.

Good on them for standing up for themselves.

It's a non-issue since they can't fully cut off access.

Don't know, don't care
