Sam Rapira stretched his unbeaten professional boxing record to five straight with a knockout win over against Moses Ieolu in front of a packed YMCA gymnasium in New Plymouth last night.

Repetitive body punches by Rapira knocked Ieolu down on the canvas two minutes and 20 seconds into the third of the scheduled six round light heavyweight contest of the Pro Am card.

Results of the six undercard fights were:

Pro heavy-weight James Langton vs Ali Brooks - Langton by knockout in 2min50sec in fourth round;pro- light-middle-weight Sitaleki Maka v  Jody Allen - unanimous on points.

Corporate bouts, Jason Allan vs Rhys Izzett - Allen unanimous points; Lionel Haldane vs John Collins - majority draw; Rueben Doyle v Phil Jones -  unanimous points; Chantelle Ngaia vs D' Arna Te Pau Konui - Ngaia by majority points decision.
