A woman was lucky to have escaped uninjured after flipping her car on State Highway Three this morning.
The 49-year-old was heading towards New Plymouth about 8.40am when she hit the median barrier, near the intersection with Vickers Rd, Sergeant Royston Betteridge said.
''She's lost control and flipped it over into the lane heading in the opposite direction,'' Mr Betteridge said.
He said it was fortunate no other vehicles were involved in the crash and the woman walked away unharmed.
