A man has been cut from the cab of his truck after it rolled on Mt Messenger blocking one lane.
The truck, carrying bales of sileage, rolled at about 3.20pm on Saturday trapping its driver.
The driver received moderate injuries and was airlifted to Taranaki Base Hospital.
A second person also travelling in the truck received moderate injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Fire crew removed the steering wheel to free the driver and a crane was used to lift the truck off the road.
