Kiwi stylist Lisa O'Neill will be in town helping Taranaki women look their best while raising funds for Plunket.

O'Neill will be in the region on Monday to host What a Woman Wants, a two-and-a-half hour comedy show touching on issues such as body shapes, accessories and make-up.

Proceeds from the evening will go toward New Plymouth Plunket Society.

O'Neill said the show had raised $500,000 for Plunket over the last four years.

She said the show would be "lots of fun" in a relaxed atmosphere.

"A lot of women think they'd be pulled on stage and something horrible would happen to them," she said.

But it was helping women feel stylish even if they felt they had "gone horribly wrong" after having too many children.

The show is on March 31, 7.30pm, at Quality Hotel Plymouth International.
