Emergency services have been kept busy this afternoon with two car accidents within half an hour.

At 3.15pm two cars were involved in an accident on the corner of Devon and Smart roads at Waiwhakaiho.

Fifteen minutes later a car and a motorcycle collided on the corner of Devon Rd and De Havilland Drive.

A central police communications spokesman said while ambulances had attended both crashes, he did not believe there were any injuries.

Earlier, there was a two car smash in Waihi Rd in Hawera at 11am.

Will Aaron Cruden's omission hurt or help the All Blacks?

Hurt - he needs as much game time as possible.

Help - finally Beauden Barrett will get a proper run.

Hmmm - no biggie, just a temporary hitch.

Who is Cruden? I support the All Whites.
