A 42 metre superyacht belonging to the son of media mogul Rupert Murdoch arrived at Port Taranaki last night.

The yacht, Sarissa, launched in November last year by owners Lachlan and Sarah Murdoch, is moored at Blyde wharf and will leave again at 4.30am tomorrow.

According to the  Sydney Morning Herald, the boat cost more than $A30million to build and can be chartered for $A156,205 a week or $A16,450 per day.
