Behaviour disgusts

I had a rare Saturday afternoon off work recently and decided to go to the Kaponga pub with my partner and 11-year-old boy for a game of pool and plate of chips.

I was horrified to walk in to a brawl erupting in front of me. I was literally pushed into the kitchen by a half dozen or so fighting idiots. Tables were pushed over, glasses and bottles smashed everywhere. Blood stained the tiles and carpets. Absolutely disgusting. People bruised and cut up.

This is a family pub, which to my knowledge has never had an incident like this under the current ownership (four years).

To you, the young man getting married, whose stag afternoon/ night it was, think carefully about future children you may have. Would you like them to witness that, or to do that? Grow up, boy.

To the owner and staff, you did well to contain it and get rid of them. I thank you for letting me run behind the bar to reach my boy who was shaking, and he is a kid who is not scared of anything! I hope I never witness a scene like that again anywhere but especially at my local. Boys, if you can't handle your drink, don't drink. Have respect for others. Please.
