Tony Brownrigg won the Stratford Cycling Club's uphill time trial from the Stratford Mountain Gates to Mountain House on Sunday.

Brownrigg's time of 14 minutes 11 seconds was only 16sec off the race record for the Midhirst Tavern-sponsored event.

Second was Blake Fergus, with Blair Cox third. The women's event was won by Tara Allerton in 17min 19sec, ahead of Creena Thomason and Jan Stewart.

The downhill event was won by Anthony Visser in 10min 53sec from Brownrigg and Fergus.

Allerton won the women's event in 12min 23sec from Thomason and Irene Blair.
