The Taranaki age-group tennis teams play their Wanganui counterparts on Sunday.

The 14 years and 16 years teams play at the Rotokare courts in New Plymouth, with the 10 years and 12 years at the Huatoki courts.

The Taranaki 14 years girls' lineup is headed by Louise Waite, who plays No 1 for Pukekura in the Soffe Cup competition. The 14 years boys' lineup will be without Ajeet Rai, who is in the United States, and Hamish Mead, who is unavailable.

Cole Hareb, who is back from a training stint with Rai at the Bolleteiri Institute, will be hard to beat in the top spot.

Each age-group plays singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
