Former Taranaki rep Kendra Cocksedge has been named to start at first five-eighth for the New Zealand women's rugby team in their first test against England tomorrow.
Cocksedge, who attended New Plymouth Girls' High School and also played cricket for Taranaki, has played the majority of her 11 tests at halfback.
She did, however, play in the No 10 jersey for Canterbury when they finished second in the women's NPC.
There are four debutants named to come off the bench.
